Careers Plus are delighted to be working with a well-established managed service provider based in the Northeast of England who is looking to hire an IT Support Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join an employee-owned company which have supported local businesses for over 20 years and have no chance of slowing down.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals, including printers and scanners.
Assist in managing and troubleshooting network issues, including LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical issues and their resolutions for future reference.
Assist in onboarding and training new employees on IT systems and best practices.

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, experience with network administration, and familiarity with cloud-based services such as Azure and AWS.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus.
